George Wyche Essays (182 words) - Visual Arts, Communication Design
George Wyche Walter Benjamin Crafted by Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction Benjamin experiences the various ages and shows what could be mass delivered at those occasions. The Greeks could just mass produce coins and earthenware things, at that point came woodcuts which changed composition and printing things. In the medieval times etching and drawing were framed and afterward lithography was created and that carried realistic pictures to have the option to deliver them in huge numbers. At that point came paper and afterward computerized craftsmanship which occurred in this only remaining century. Walter cites Paul Valery and his musings about how individuals are continually changing and needing more and thinking of approaches to improve things. Taking everything into account Benjamin says that film has become a faction and people in general has taken it over and they aren't truly adept at monitoring it. I concur with Benjamin when he says that film has dominated and we have let it. I don't get into film in my work yet I do attempt to improve my procedures and improve my ways when I make things.
